There are little hints of Eddis and Eugenides' childhoods, like Eugenides's brother breaking Eddis' nose when they were young. I think Gen and Eddis are pretty similar in age and I love their friendship. I'd love to see fic that explores either characters' youth or childhood. Neither Gen nor Eddis would have been born practicing statecraft or possessing thieving skills and watching them acquire those would be cool background fic! Alternatively, I would love to see fic about them somewhere within the four books' timeline, maybe a missing scene, or between the books (eg between books 1 and 2).

Reepicheep

I wonder what happened to Reepicheep after he sails in his little coracle towards the end of the world. I would love to see fic exploring what he saw there, what kind of adventures he had while sailing, anything like that. When I read these books, the Christian allegory went totally above my head, and I'm happy to hear about Reepicheep's adventure whether or not you draw on religious motifs and stories, or if you want to tell a straight adventure of him sailing off the edge of the world!
